The Storax system installed at Innodis ice cream factory in Mauritius has been operating since 2005. Mark Pearce, Barpro’s technician, was there recently to assist with some minor repairs. “Other than some side member damage and one control panel”, says Mark, “the Storax mobiles have been well taken care of by the warehouse staff and will continue to run for many years to come. The Innodis Engineering team has been closely liaising with and involved with Mark Pearce during his intervention. “It was indeed a great experience and knowledge sharing in getting to work with Mark. Our team acquired a lot in general maintenance aspects and we are now well poised to take things further up in the years to come”, says Desire Tang, Senior Technical staff member. Mark suggests the following advice for local Storax clients. “The time and cost for us to fix a small problem on the mobiles is infinitely more cost effective than ignoring it and risking an eventual breakdown. Contact Barpro sooner rather than later. We can ship the spares quickly, and, if required, assist with the repairs”.
