Cold Scan, an easy way to monitor incoming pallet temperatures
Every cold store manager knows the problem of receiving pallets which may be “warm”. To establish core temperatures the product must be drilled and a probe inserted. Probing every pallet is impossible given time restraints, so incoming loads can be put away without temperature checks being done. This can leave the cold store open to future claims for rejected product and additional energy costs. Cold Scan over comes this challenge by automatically scanning pallets as they arrive at the cold store and notifies operators by means of an alarm when a problem pallet temperature is detected.
