Recently Ceres Fruit Growers had their Storax mobiles inspected. The repair costs were higher than expected and prompted a rethink by the maintenance department. Deon Schickerling and David van Huffel started checking the mobiles on a regular basis using the Storax manual and making sure that the forklift drivers were following procedures. In a follow up inspection they found that repair costs fell by 80% illustrating how looking after your mobiles pays hands down, both in terms of repairs and lower down time.
