Made from hard, tough wood and finished in our workshops, each bumper weighs around 75kgs and provides protection to guide wheel units at the front of the mobile bases. Easy to fit, they provide a simple solution to prevent damaged wheel units and control boxes.

Emaco T545

Emaco T545 is a cement based product which can be used in temperatures ranging from -20 degree C (or lower) up to over 30 degree C. Emaco T545 can be used on a variety of applications – our focus being cold store floors. It can be traffic-ready within a period of 1 hour or less depending on the application.

(Previously known as Febset 45, it has recently been re-launched under its’ international name Emaco T545.)

Spal-pro 2000

Spal-pro 2000 is a rapid setting polyurea polymer liquid.  It is easy to apply and self-levelling. Spal-pro 2000 can be used for ambient and freezer applications from -29 degree C up to 49 degree C.

Spalpro sets within 15 minutes and is then traffic ready.

Mesh Decks

Made from either 5 or 6mm steel rods and galvanized. Apertures can be varied in size to suit most pallet types. Used mainly to support plastic pallets in pallet racking where wood is not an option. Important in cold stores where plastic pallets can become brittle at low temperatures. Also good for upper pallet levels where wooden pallet quality is questionable. Grids are designed to take the full pallet weight and are easy to install.  They can also be used to give personnel protection from falling debris in emergency exits under cantilever racking.

Pallet Support Bars or Saddle Beams

Placed between load beams in the middle of each pallet position and secured with grub screws. The leading edge of the front of saddle is visible under the pallet. It is normally painted a different colour to the load beams and acts as a guide for putting pallets away. They support the centre of the wooden pallet. It is popular where disposable pallets are used especially on the uppermost pallet levels. They also add strength to the racking system.  

Maintenance Service Inspections

Barpro Storage SA offers a wonderful service where we take care of your mobiles.  We strongly recommend that the mobile racking system is checked annually. We will come to your store to do a full maintenance service inspection. Maintenance and housekeeping in your store should be an everyday chore, in doing so, you will ensure your Storax Mobiles to last a life time with minimal damage to your system.

Spares

We hold a substantial amount of stock in our warehouse in Cape Town and keep a variety of spares on shelf. We also manufacture locally in order to meet the specific needs and requirements of our clients. Our lead time on manufactured items are 1-2 weeks. Specialized items are imported from the UK.

Sweepex Brushes

Maintenance inspections on Storax Mobiles have shown that one of the main reasons behind mobile stoppages is debris on the floor. This debris either gets stuck under the tripbars or migrates to the rails where it is crushed by the Storax wheels. It can then form an obstacle for the easy movement of the Storax bases. Keeping a cold room clean can be a problem as people find it too cold to clean them effectively with hand brushes. It also takes too long to manually sweep a large area in the cold. The Sweepex brush is a great solution to this problem. This heavy duty brush comes in 3 models (light to heavy). They are easily attached to the forks of a reach or counterbalance truck.
